I guess I better start right at the beginning... well one day a long time ago (but not that long ago, and not in a galaxy far, far away) I was born. Lots of other stuff happened and then one day the Star Wars Original Trilogy Special Editions were released at the cinemas. I had not originally intended to see Star Wars and didn't have any interest in it at the time, instead I wanted to see Dante's Peak (Volcano disaster movie). Unfortunately however that was a 12 rating and I wasn't old enough to see it... much to my annoyance. However my parents offered to take me to see Star Wars instead, and the rest, as they say, is history.

From that point on I was hooked. The only Star Wars game I had for a very long time was the Mysteries of the Sith Demo (I was completely new to gaming back then and it took me forever just to figure out how to play the game!), which came free with my then new computer. The first full Star Wars game I got was the Episode 1 game, and it has only been recently that I actually got around to buying Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight and the Mysteries of the Sith Expansion! *shock!*

A few years rolled by and I then learned about Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, which I bought soon after it was released and it remains one of my favourite games of all time. Not long after I started playing JK2 I discovered JKFiles and the modding community from which I eagerly downloaded many maps. JKFiles has been my primary source of JK series downloads ever since! It was around this time that I also started with my first crude attempts at mapping for JK2, although I only did it for my own enjoyment at this time and never thought of releasing my creations until much later on.

I then followed the development of Jedi Academy, and got that as soon as it was released. Having an interest in mapping by now due to my experimentations with JK2 mapping, I decided to carry that over to JKA. After a while I decided to release my first map to the public here on JKFiles, where it can still be found (Bespin Gas Refinery). And again, the rest, as they say, is history!

After releasing a couple of maps, I decided I wanted to have a go at also reviewing files at my favourite site. Incredibly I actually managed to get a job (with a little help from Szico VII - ever thankful for that mate!) under then Site Manager Amos Magee. After she was replaced (under still mysterious circumstances) I stayed on under Inyri Forge for about a year before retiring due to time constraints.

However a couple of years later, in early 2008 Kouen became the Manager, and having some more time on my hands I decided to re-apply and Kouen kindly gave me my job back. After Kouen left, Averus became manager and after Crazy Assassin replaced Averus I stuck around. Finally I got my chance to be manager myself in early 2009 and that is where I have been since! I the future I hope to make many cool changes and additions to JKFiles so keep checking news!
