eGaming-League.net duel - File Description  


Description:
Very simply, this is a great duel map. Created by Darth.Hunter, the same who brought us a version of Helm's Deep for JK2, this map is not what I'd expect from him.

The map has this dome shape to it and is quite large for a duel map. Though, most of the space isn't used for dueling. There are beautiful, small details all around this map. From the walkways to the little lights flashing all around the platform. And then there are the bigger effects, like the spinning eGL logo. This map was made especially for eGaming-League.net. You can also play FFA on this map, and the weapon selection is nice, but there doesn't seem to be near enough room for a large FFA.

The music included is quite fitting for the map itself, I believe it is a track from the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack. And Darth.Hunter does a great job with including bot routes too! So far, this is one of my favorite duel maps for JKA. Good job, Darth.Hunter ... and I can't wait to see some CTF and Siege maps from you! big grin

Description : This is my second map after the jk2 map "Helm's Deep". This time, I made a smaller map
especially for dueling. You can also use the map for Power-Duel, FFA or Team-FFA.
The map is designed as an official duel map of the eGaming-League, so in the middle of
it, you will find the rotating eGL logo. This original duel map contains also weapons in order
to be able to play FFA and Team-FFA also.
This is the first map of an upcomming mappool especially for eGL premierships. CTF an Siege
maps will follow.

I hope you enjoy it and will play it on eGaming-League.net ;)

Instructions : Extract the duel_egl.pk3 to your GameData/base/ directory
The map will appear in your map list as "eGaming-League.net Duel", if Duel, Power-Duel,
FFA or TEAM-FFA chosen.
You can start the map also with the aid of the console:
"/map mp/duel_egl"
Please notice: The map contains weapons for FFA and Team-FFA use. If you want to play saber only,
simply start your server with the CVAR: g_WeaponDisable "65531"

Posts: 42 		Working on it, but that needs quite a time since we are also modeling new weapons and playermodels to build up a real LotR atmosphere.
Still need people who are able to make playermodels embarrasment
