Yavin Christmas - File Description  


Description:
I love Christmas. It's a great time of year (minus the chilly weather). It's a time to be with your family, be thankful, be generous and... well hey, you tend to get free stuff. And chocolate. As I said, it's a good time of year. We always love to see our resident modders celebrating with the masses by releasing holiday-themed material, and while it may be hard to enjoy year-round it certainly comes back to us each and every time to holiday comes round.

The Yavin CTF map was always one of my favorite maps during my very short JK2 stint. It's got great areas and is quite good for gameplay. Picture it. Yeees, it's coming baaack to you. Now forget that Yavin IV is a tropical jungle and picture it if The Day After Tomorrow hit and everything froze over. Yeeees... Snowy. Icy. Christmasy. You got it! Snowmen, twinkly lights, ice slicks, and lots of snow make Yavin IV the new hip holiday hangout! Boy, say that five times fast.

Other than the new look, which is rather impressive and does make the map look brand-spankin' new, the map itself is still the ol' Yavin IV underneath all the garland and strings of lights. But that almost makes it better -- Yavin is all dressed up for the holidays, and now you and your buddies can all celebrate together!

CREDITS: I made it alone like all other my mods on jk2files.;P

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Just put PK3 file to your gamedata/base folder. Simply?

CONSTRUCTION TIME: a few weeks:D (I hadn't time)

DESCRIPTION: This is a Christmas alteration of map ctf_yavin. Sincerely saying I followed the example with map Bespin Christmas but my is different!!!:D
For more play I added a few mini - missions, which they have to save Christmas!!! These missions are very easy, you just have to a bit look for:D
OK and i want to tell that "TerminatoR" in my map is my nick in JK2.

BUGS: If you find any larger bugs plz tell me at a above adress.

COMMENTS: I think that you will take a liking this map ;)

I USED: Photoshop CS2, JK2Radiant, Shader Editor (with Editing Tools)
