Wat Tambor - File Description  


Description:
Well I'm excited.

When was the last time we heard from KMan? Too long ago, to be sure. But now we're blessed with a model, courtesy of KMan and Psyk0Sith, and with those two working together how can you go wrong? This model is beautiful, right down to the polyflow, and the wonderful texturing makes me want to shed a tear (and possible throw a tantrum out of jealousy). Honestly the only problems I can find with this model is that the character is not supposed to be able to deform the way some of the JA animations do, so it seems that some executive decisions had to be made (such as "metal does not bend") so there's minor clipping between the shoulders and the chest, but I'm honestly amazed it's not worse given how it was rigged. Done very tastefully, to be sure. If you've been waiting for yet another solid prequel-based model, this is it, so savor it while you can.

And what's a good model without the proper extras? We're not going to be deprived of them, don't worry. Custom sounds, team colors, excellent shaders, the works. And let's not forget bot support. Everything you could want in a model, and the quality to back it up. So what are you waiting for? Download this puppy right now!

Description : Wat Tambor from Star Wars Episode II

A consummate industrialist, Wat Tambor was the Foreman of the Techno Union, a galactic institution concerned with technological innovation. Tambor was eager to escape from the choking bureaucracy of the Republic Senate, and readily joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He not only committed his army of battle droids to the cause, but also hosted the meeting of the Separatists minds at one of the Techno Union's droid foundries on Geonosis.

As befitting a technocrat, Wat Tambor is entirely encased in machinery and is even reliant on technology to speak. His deep, resonant voice is strangely mechanical, modulated by a set of dials built into his torso.

Tambor oversaw a number of advanced technology plants scattered throughout the galaxy, and many major corporations, including Baktoid Armor Workshop, Haor Chall Engineering, Republic Sienar Systems, and Kuat Systems Engineering were signatory members of the Techno Union.'
