Description:

Have you ever played Unreal Tournament? Well I haven’t, so you will probably have an advantage over me when assessing this Unreal themed User Interface mod. Still, even if I do not know much of anything about the source material, I can see that this is a very slick and well made mod. There is plenty of movement in the menus and such, this is immediately obvious when the main menu screen loads, and a giant 'U' symbol tries to leap out of the screen to kill you with its sharp stabby edges. stick out tongue

They certainly aren’t static, that’s for sure, the ingame menus pulse slowly and even the cursor moves gently from side to side. The HUD is neatly rolled into just one package on the left side of the screen, which contains everything you need to know. Once again the graphics and presentation here are very slick!

This also happens to have been made for a clan who's logo is also the Unreal logo, however since that is the case this is perfectly suitable for anyone who might be a fan of the Unreal Tournament games!

Overall I think this is a great piece of work, although my main complaint is that giant 'U' on the main menu, the way it zooms in and out and moves around is a bit hypnotic and it was uncomfortable to look at after a little while, I would suggest maybe lessening the amount of movement it does, but that's just me.

And the idea was to harm a few people with the centre logo stick out tongue

But to be honest, I like the hypnotic aspect of it myself, just personal preference I guess?

Great work Wolf! Love the colour scheme, works perfectly. Linking directly to our server was a nice touch too. The clan will appreciate this!

(Just to be clear, we don't actually use the Unreal logo as our own, we have our own logo. It just kind of stuck after the clan was named, ''Unreal.'')

Excellent work Wolf!
It's good to see everybody at Unreal still kickin after such a long time.
The HUD is one of my personal favorites, as Nozyspy had said - "Once again the graphics and presentation here are very slick!".

Amazing job with the UI mate, it would be good to see what else you can produce (:

Haven't seen you around in a while hey.

We actually have a map in progress at the moment, currently in Stylus' hand. I made a scrappy version of the map to get the idea going, but he's better with the mapping than myself, so he will be doing majority of the brushwork, and I'll probably do the scripting to go with it. Hopefully it will be more of a hit than this, as it's not going to be a clan-focussed thing, but rather something everyone can find use for smile
