Description:
Well, we've got a new FFA map for our bloodletting needs. Sun and sky, 'tis called, and the creator of this place is one who calls himself X3no (a name which I mis-spelled at least 4 times). The author claimed that it's been sitting around for quite a while. Why, I've no idea.

The map, as I said earlier, is simple. There's four platforms (that act as spawnpoints) connected to a central platform and on top of that one, there's a smaller one. There's also some pillars to spice things up a bit. And a tiny bit of land under the walkways for those dramatic reappearances when your opponent thinks you kicked the bucket or fell to the ground far below their feet. Architecturally, that's pretty much all there is.

Now, this is a fine little map indeed. The music isn't as bad for it as X3no thinks. However, it's a wee bit small for an FFA, simply cause there's so little room for actual fighting. A duel, now that's where this thing shines. Sadly, it doesn't really show up in the menu and needs some console work to access. Which makes me a sad Jose. There's also bot support (but I found that at least half the time the bot happened to jump from the spawn platforms and plummet to its rocky death), so you won't need other people to swing your blade around. There's also a .map file included for the curious.

	Readme File: ********************************* Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy ********************************* TITLE: Sun and Sky AUTHOR: X3no E-MAIL: x3no.type@gmail.com WEBSITE: x3nopro.com OR x3non.com (WiP) CREDITS: I made the map. That pretty much sums it up. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Put the pk3 file in the base folder (inside gamedata, in your JKA directory). DESCRIPTION: This map is a small project that I have had sitting around for some time. BUGS: The trigger_hurt doesn't act too quickly (below the platform) The music doesn't really fit the sunny setting, but I didn't feel like sorting through the base game music and finding something better. The lighting is a bit darker in some places than I would like, and lighter in most others :l COMMENTS: I've included the .map file for the map, so feel free to have a look. I give my permission for you (the person reading this) to revise this map, and use it (or parts of it) in other maps, or mods. I only require that I be credited in the Readme of said derivatives.
