Star Wars Galaxies Weapon Pack - File Description  


Description:
Have you ever played Star Wars Galaxies and your character has missed the target three times in a row and thought "I could do better than that". well now you can.

This is a weapons mod basted on weapons from the Multiplayer game Star Wars Galaxies.

It contains six new weapons in all, three guns and three sabers.
Players of Star Wars Galaxies will instantly recognise these weapons as you will have seen them being wielded by various different people.

My favourite has got to be Light Lightning Cannon, I have always loved them in Star Wars Galaxies, I almost went Bounty Hunter just so I could use one.

This is a very good pack, but there is one weapon that lets it down, the EE3 Carbine. To be honest I haven’t seen many of these in Star Wars Galaxies.

Well personally I would say its good for a first attempt, about the only thing wrong is its position in first person, maybe and update for version 2 smile

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Put the PK3s you want into your base folder. Either add swg_wep.pk3 to your base folder (for all weapons), or pick and choose from the rest if you don't want a particular weapon.

DESCRIPTION: This is a group of 6 weapons based on the popular MMO "Star Wars Galaxies," including 3 new sabers and 3 guns.

INCLUDED WEAPONS:
-Scythe (Swordsman)
-Executioner's Hack (Swordsman)
-Vibroknuckler (Teras Kasi Artist)
-EE3 Carbine (Carbineer)
-Scatter Pistol (Bounty Hunter)
-Light Lightning Cannon (Bounty Hunter)

SP SABER COMMANDS:
-Scyth --> saber swg_scythe
-Executioner's Hack --> saber exec_hack
-Vibroknuckler (right hand) --> saber vk_right
-Vibroknuckler (left hand) --> saber vk_left
-Vibroknuckler (for dual sabers) --> saber vk_right vk_left

NOTE: I suggest using Vibroknucklers as dual sabers, as I designed them with dual sabers in mind.

KNOWN BUGS/ISSUES:
-I know the LLC's shots aren't accurate to the game, but since I don't play it anymore I couldn't really get a perfect picture of what they look like. However I got really attached to the current effects, so I kept them. If you want to play arround with the EFX files to get it more accurate, feel free.
-To make the LLC more versatile I increased the fire rate and decreased the amount of ammo used. This will cause the LLC to be extraordinarily overpowered, as changing damage is basically impossible, so keep that in mind while using it.
-For some reason the actual projectiles for some of the guns seems to be off in multiplayer. Everything is fine in single player. No idea why this happens.

COMMENTS: I'm not really happy with the EE3 carbine - the model wasn't very good and the first person view is atrocious - but I think it looks really good from third person so I included it anyway. Keep in mind that was the first gun I ever modelled, so go easy on me ;). I don't really like the first person views on any of them, but all of them look pretty good in third person.
