Sith Duel - File Description  


Description:
Well, here's a nice little map. Compact, streamlined, and not a whole lot of eye candy, but it still manages to look pretty good. For a first map, that's a pretty good accomplishment.

Everything you'd expect from a "Sith" map is here. Korriban theme, lava, orange/red lighting and crystals, and the inevitable throne. Take a look at the screenshot, that's better than any description i can give.

Although it looks good and provides almost no lag, I'd advise doing more with the available space. Little details like wall fittings, anything like that to make the map less monotonous. I'm not saying the theme doesn't work, because it does, it's just not all that exciting to look at. Also, I'd suggest a little more color variation. Aside from aesthetics, the only real error is bot support, although this is stated in the readme. Well, for tutorials, the Master Sticky is your friend!

Overall not a bad map. Needs a little aesthetic touching-up and some better music, but for it's purpose, and as a first map, it's a very respectable effort.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Place the sith duel.pk3 into your gamedata\base folder.

DESCRIPTION: A small Korribon based duel map, based inside a sith temple, It has a platform for dueling over a pit of lava. No secrets as of yet.

BUGS: None that I could find, please tell me if you find any.

COMMENTS: This Is going to be part of a much larger map but for right now It's just the one room. This is my first map and any Ideas or comments are welcome, also any bot rout tutorials are welcome.

Oh sounds good thining about downloading but when i look at the screenie u did some pretty good work easy and fast but goodTwo Thumbs Up!

This is a really simple lay out for a map. And thats exactly why I like it. Simple isnt always a bad thing. And a great first map. 10/10. Better than any map I could ever do. Which is why I dont do maps smile
