Sabre and Cutlass Pack 1 - File Description  


Description:
Ah, Inyri, will you ever make something that I don't like? XD

That's right, folks, it's time for more of Inyri Forge's models. This time it is a pack of Sabres and Cutlasses, two of each. The inspiration to make them came from the website of someone named Jody Samson, who I had never heard of before this file, but has many cool swords.

I couldn't find the swords on the site like the ones in the back, but it is obvious that at least the inspiration came from there. The models are quite well done, not anything extremely complicated, but nice looking. The textures are also well done, reminding me that I can't make metal textures to save my life. The main thing that I thought kinda took the quality down a little was the very end of some of the handles. It looks as if there should be some sort of design there, but there isn't. However, since most people won't even see that much while playing, that really isn't an issue.

To be honest, I can't think of any way to improve them without changing what they are, with the exception of the tips of the handles. The best part of it all is that this is apparently pack one of three, though there was no ETA on the other two packs.

This pack contains four weapons -- two sabres and two cutlasses -- based on real-life weapon designs. It is the first of three planned packs of these types of curved blades.
