Saber Magnify MP and SP V2 - File Description

Description:
Quote:
A new mini mod makes it's way to our doorstep bringing us something rather simple.

What this does is give you a magnified look at the saber making it bigger in the menu. This does not affect however the ingame saber. Maybe some of you will appreciate it, I know I do because I can see the detail on the ingame sabers much better.

The author also made it easier for us placing different pk3s to work for the different mods out there like Japlus, ojpbasic, base ja and forcemod 3.

Ayane Yamazaki

Now the author has provided ingame magnify so that if you need to look at your saber hilt while ingame you can do so. Kudos for that. And also sorry for taking this long, problems with pc and isp are a real drag.

TITLE: Saber Magnify Mini Mod v2
AUTHOR: Edvin76
E-MAIL: janos_hefko@yahoo.co.uk

FILENAME: saber_magnify_MP-SP_V2.zip
FILESIZE: ~460kb including screenshots
DATE RELEASED: 06 December 2007

DESCRIPTION:
This mini mod will let you to be able to see the sabers in all their glory,
in the SP and MP main menus.

Version changes:
-Now the MP "in game" saber menu magnifying is supported.
-Also I moved the sabers a bit higher in the main menus.
-Included SP support for RevanDark's hilts for Base JK3.

***********************************
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Never edit out or delete the "zzzz"-s from the filenames.
Delete any earlier version of the mini mod form every folder!!
Put the zzzz_SaberMagnify_JKABase_V2.pk3 in the Base folder.
For the popular mods like,
-ForceMod_III,
-JA+ v2.3,
-OJPbasic v012
delete any earlier version of the mini mod and make sure you put
the correct file into the respective mod's folder.
For RavenDark hilt's SP support put the
zzzzz_SaberMagnify_RevanDarkHilts.pk3
into the Base folder as well!

With only the zzzz_SaberMagnify_JKABase.pk3 in the Base folder
it should also be compatible with:
(STAR WARS CHAOS FORCE2 Ultimate combat, Duelers 1,
Lugormod 1.1, dark_force_mod_25_fixed, The Last Hope 011)
***********************************

BUGS: Any feedback or bugreport or advice please email:
janos_hefko@yahoo.co.uk

COMMENTS:
-The "New" button in the saber menu doesnt work by default, its not the mod's fault.
-In ForceMod III the "in game" selector will only let you choose all the 3 style
if you choose the appropriate class and force powers first.
-Also in ForceMod III some of the cores dont join to the hilts properly,
thats something originally in FMIII, so its not a bug from this side.

Extra Comments:
-Ive tried to make the saber size changeable via menu buttons and Ive found it
impossible, because of some hard coded part of the menu system, its the same
impossible to make the selector remember the last selected hilt between
changing styles. If anyone can make these changes in SP I will bow before them.

CREDITS:
For the screenshots I've used RevanDark's cool sabers:

Enjoy! ^_^

Very cool mod idea, not sure why its getting a low score. If I have the author's permission i'd love to incorporate this into my next version of Old School smile.

This mod is really just a couple of changes in the menu settings, so I declare this mod's every content as completely free to use with or without mentioning me in the credits. Feel free to use it in any way.

 #11 - v3 is on the way! - Posted by: Edvin76 (Member) on 12-23-2007 at 06:39
Hi guys! Ive got good Christmas news! With the help of Scooper a new version is on its way! His help in SP menus and a new idea of mine for MP menus will make it available to zoom in and out in game with a press of a button!
We will just have to make the final touch ups and hopefully I will post it before Xmas, that means of course the release here is a bit later commencing, depending on the options of the moderators!
