SA Bespin - File Description  


Description:
SA bespin is essentially the classic JK2 Bespin map that we all love, or hate, but with a few little extras like a small underground room and some extra dueling pads. The sky has also been changed to a bespin one, which has its upsides and its downsides. Primarily, for me at least, it looks a lot nicer, although it clashes with the wall colours in some places, but the most obvious problem is when you look down from the edge of the level, where the skybox is less than perfect. In fact, its rather bad to be honest. A fog or something here could've cleared it up nicely.

Additionally, theres also a fair bit of texture misalignment in places, and in the drop down to the underground room, theres a lot of red light with no apparent source. However its still essentially bespin, except with a different skybox and some additional areas. If you like the look of it it's probably worth the download, if not, you're not missing out on much from the normal bespin.

Description: This is a modification of the ffa_bespin map for JK2. It's not
a huge
overhaul or anything like that, it's just small edits to the map.
It's the first map I've ever actually done so it's nowhere near great
but I hope some people like what changes I've made.
Changes :
* Two extra duelling pads added - One below the original pad
One over the other side of the map
* Extra interior sections added like inside the building by the pad
Original boundaries removed so you can go onto the tower and behind
buildings without teleport.
* Strange mini-building style thingy found after decompiling the map
that was just off the side of the map. This has been included in the
map itself just because I liked it.
* Ability to go on top of the building by the pad, with a pool added
on top of one.
* Skybox changed
*Duel/Force Fight room added
* Explore for the rest.

Installation: Extract the file ffa_SAbespin.pk3 to the /GameData/base file
in your JK2
installation folder

Instructions: Just like all other maps, use the command /map ffa_SAbespin to
access
this on your own server (or use /rcon map etc. for rcon use).
