Redeem's Starburst Sabers (v2) - File Description  


Description:
I personally think the author chose the perfect name for this mod, as the best adjective to describe these blades would be to say they look like a starburst. The effect created here gives them a kind of exploded look, or a prickly look... Heck, they look like a starburst. It's not only the best adjective, but it's really the only suitable one. Another cool aspect of these blades is that each blade has two colors. For instance purple goes from pink in the center to purple on the outside, and red goes from orange near the core to red near the edges. Cool, no? I think so. Definitely a new and unique take on the average blade mod. Grab it while it's hot!

Credits: None unless you count ravensoft, and adobe for photoshop :D

Installation Instructions: I left a few options on what to do with this mod, place the "Redeem's Starburst Sabers.pk3" into you JKA base folder
(C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\Base by default on an english system)
Then add "japlus - Redeem's Starburst Sabers (slim).pk3" or "japlus = Redeem's Starburst Sabers (bold).pk3" to your Japlus folder if you wish to use them
(C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\japlus by default on an english system)

Description: This mod will change the appearance of the blades to all sabers, it will give them, what i can best describe as, a starburst effect.
If you choose not to install the japlus pk3's into the japlus folder, you will still see the trails for the standard japlus RGB sabers, that cannot be helped
but if you do, it will give the glow effect to the japlus RGB sabers, as well as the fire, fire2, lightning and lightning two ones. the differense between the
slim and bold versions are simply the size of the blade, try them both if you like and choose which one you like most

Bugs: Not spoted any bugs, i've used this for a while, but please email me if you find any

Comments: I never released the original and just used it privatly, but i'm still counting it as a v2, unless you want to count my previous saber mod as a v1.
if anyone wishs to use my work they are more than welcome even though i see little use in it.....
