Description:
This is a program by Phenix. Called Rcon Unlimited, this is a remote control (rcon) program for several Q3 (Quake 3) based games, such as the Jedi Knight series, Soldiers of Fortune, Elite Force, and more. It allows you to have easier and closer control over your gaming server.

This file is only for people with or access to a Quake 3 powered gaming server. In my opinion, this sounds most promising and a must download for those of you who can use it. For more in-depth information, see the readme.

	Readme File: X---------------------------X \| UberGames: Rcon Unlimited \| \| Version: 1.0 \| X---------------------------X Description: ------------ Rcon Unlimited is designed to be the next generation of remote control of Q3 powered servers. Most Servers admin have heard of (or used) Rcon Commander. This program is designed to be the replacement of Rcon Commander, giving you many more options and abilities. Setup: ------ To install UberGames' Rcon Unlimited, unzip the archive and double click on the setup.exe file. General: -------- To use Rcon Unlimited, you must first have a Q3 powered server (or access to one). You will need to have an rcon password set i the server config file. For Q3 powered games this line would be something like: set rconPassword "Amazing" For Q2 powered games you would add this line: set rcon_password "Amazing" Changing "Amazing" to what ever you want you password to be. Use commands as if you where at the server, and using it. You do not need to type "rcon <password> <command>", just the command! Once you have entered you command just click on send or hit the <enter> key on your keyboard. WOW I used this file for my clan's server. See I'm not the server, but I have rcon. So I said "Hello, everybody, this is Ra-Kom." and they were like "WHAT?!" (though I couldn't tell that they said that until I entered the server a few minutes later). So then I explained to them the file. Now I think the only thing missing that makes me give this 9/10 instead of 10/10 is that I can't read what the people on the server are saying. Now if the makers could do that, I would do /amkissfeet (if only it existed...). That would be just like being the actual server, which I would have been hadn't my Network/Firewall/Comcast service prevented me. Great job!

Well version 2.0 is under productions and a lot of people asked for to see what the server was saying..

The only way I can do that is with server side software, which will only work on a windows machine.

Well, then you should have a few versions of it, one for Windows people like me so I can view other people's chat thing smile

and another that is just standard version 2.0 or whatever.

But anyway, what else will be in 2.0? I can't think of anything else other than seeing people's chat that could make this great file better than it already is. Well, ignore what I just said, because I haven't really used much of it, the only thing I've done so far is making them think I'm the actual server lol. So I'll try a few more things and see what I think could be improved upon.

Uhhh..is there anything else that this thing can do? I can do rcon say in Server Watch or even All Seeing Eye. I can even change the map. Is there anything specific this MOD can do?

Anyway, I was wondering, Phenix, you know how when you're in-game and you try to make like, the motd, but certain things don't work that only work when it is in the server.cfg? Things like when you put the website in the motd, if I do /rcon set dc_motd "http://jor.termix-zero.d2g.com/" while in-game, the only thing that shows up is http:. Well can I do a full motd from RCon Unlimited just as if I am doing it with the server.cfg?
