Movie Saber Clash effects Mod - File Description  


Description:
After reviewing a trailer for this mod about a week ago I’ve been dieing to get my hands on it.

Basically this little mod aims to make saber fights look more like the films. It makes any hit to the body look like a saber clash. Overall it gives the effect of a more realistic saber fight because it doesn't look like you are actually hitting anyone, making it perfect for movie making. It also makes the saber fights feel faster paced and exhilarating.

I can only really see two downsides to this mod, firstly it would give you a bit of a disadvantage in duels, and normally you can tell if you got a good hit in or not. Also you still get the shield effect which kinda ruins the feel of it. Maybe that could be changed in version 2 *hint*

I think this is probably one of the most practical mods I have ever seen; I can see a valid use for it.

DESCRIPTION: This mod changes the clash effects and hit effects with a saber to resemble those as seen in the movie. The overall effect makes for an energetic duelling experience as seen in the prequel movies. The clash and hit sounds have also changed. I made this mod because I was sick of the effects currently in JKA. I mean usually with the hit of a saber you’re dead, and with every hit there are these annoying orange balls that fly out of you…. With this mod it makes the illusion that every hit to the body seems like a saber clash, so the fights look more spectacular.Keen movie makers should take special note of this mod, as it would definatley liven up their movies, especially when they are re-enacting key saber battles.

FEATURES:

- New Saber Clash effect, that occurs even when saber makes contact with flesh
- New energetic saber clashing sounds
