MaulVM - File Description  


Description:
ooohhh.. this is a file submitted by Mars Marshall, and I really like this. This is Darth Maul, and I know there are others already out there. But in my opinion, this will be my favorite. There are three different versions of maul contained in the pk3.. one the regular maul in his garb, a second with Maul cloaked, and a third with Mister Maul with no shirt. This was very well done and the only thing I could find about it that could be taken as a negative is the skin with no shirt is alittle pale. This is a very nice skin.. have I said that already??

This is My version of DarthMaul from Episode I (The Phantom menace).

******************************READ THIS BEFORE PLAYING***************************************

Installation:
Place MaulVM.pk3 into the "StarWars JediKnight Jedi Academy/GameData/basefolder".



Instructions:
1) In order to use NPC's you will need to acivate cheats heres how you do it.

Singleplayer- Once your in the game, hit "shift and tild (~)" to activate the console. Next type "devmapall" (or devmap t1sour)...hit enter (cheats are now on)...next type "npc spawn (the npc's name)" Example: npc spawn maulvm.

Here are the npc model names for this pack (With a brief description)...

***SINGLE Player NPC*** (use these for to play "as" Maul in single player)

pmaulvm
pmaulvmr (robed)
pmaulvms (shirtless)

***ENEMY NPC's:

maulvm
maulvmr (robed)
maulvms (shirtless)

Note: you must enter one of the above names when spawning your npc.

cont... close the console by hitting the tild (~) again.


Multiplayer- To activate cheats, you do thing a little different. activate the console by hitting shift+tild(~). Next type /devmapall "mapname". Example: /devmapall mp/duel1. The map will load with cheats activated. Open the console again and type /npc spawn "npc's name". Example: /npc spawn maulvm... Notice that single player you have to put the "/" slash before the command.

Here are the npc model names for this pack (With a brief description)...

maulvm
maulvmr (robed)
maulvms (shirtless)

Note: you must enter one of the above names when spawning your npc.

cont... close the console by hitting the tild (~) again.


***Trouble shoot***

Usually there are only a few errors make that cause problems. Here are the most common...
1) Not removing the old Maul files.
2) Not using the proper console commands for "Single Player" or "Multiplayer"... cheats are acivated differently for each. Read "Instructions" up above.
3) Having the pk3 placed in the wrong folder.
4) Not installing the most current patch for JKA (big problems here).
