Description:
The wait is over, folks. HapSlash's Anakin Skywalker model has arrived, and with style.
HapSlash brings us the tragic hero, completely with a customizable wardrobe and three - count 'em three - amazing soundsets. If you thought the Anakin soundsets out there already were good, have a listen to these. With a minimal amount of background noise and music, these sounds will really make you feel like you are Anakin Skywalker, rather than just watching him. The soundsets include an Episode 2 soundset, a neutral Episode 3 soundset, and a more Sith-like Episode 3 soundset. Of course Anakin must match his voice, so several clothing variations have been included: Episode 2 'fro hair, normal Episode 3 duds, hooded and unhooded robes, and a battle-worn version.
You've all seen the WIP images that have been spread around the various community forums, and the model certainly lives up to the images. With an accurate mesh, beautiful texturing, and Infinity Blade's characteristically (near) perfect weighting, there's very little you could find to complain about. HapSlash has even gone so far as to include three head meshes: an Episode 2 head, and two Episode 3 heads with slightly differently shaped hair.
Since we've been waiting for, oh, about a year for this model, you'd expect it would come with all the extras. And indeed it does. Some very tasteful team support, various NPC options, and of course a bot to play with. It also comes with single-player support (and the mouth is fully rigged for those who actually want to use it in single-player!). This way you can easily access the outfit you want to see! What more could you want? How about some spiffy shaders to complete the feel? You've got it.

Here we are at long last. I know many of you have been waiting fot this for a long time, and I appologize for the delay, but things do come up, and so much has happened over the last year.
Before getting to the description, I wanted to thank all those most directly responsible for helping this to become what it has, and those who have helped to get it completed.
First to Infinity Blade, who painstakingly went over my "poorly concieved" mesh and made it move. The best weighter in all of JK
Liberty Ashford, who's been a great friend and was the one responsible for keeping me here, even after I had decided to move on.
Black Rose, who managed to get the public to stop arguing amongst itself about why the model was taking so long, and found ways to make them remember what it was they were waiting for.
And finally Gwethenea, who who took it upon herself to kick me into gear and was the one directly responsible for getting me to finish. Without her you people would still be waiting for this. So give her a little thanks.

This is the third of the Episode III models that I'm working on, based off of the latest Star Wars movie 'Revenge of the Sith'.
The first pk3 includes both Anakin from RotS and a varient AotC model. There are a total of 6 different texture sets in this pk3, the default, red & blue team skins, robed and unrobed, then an alternate battle worn version as he appears on Mustafar during the final moments of the film.
These skin can be selected in MP by typing in
model hs_anakin/battle
hs_anakin/robe
hs_anakin/hood
hs_anakin/s-battle
hs_anakin/s-robe
hs_anakin/s-hood
ALTERNATIVELY...
there is also a second directory 'hs_anakin2' which contains all the skins of the base, but has an alternate more hostile sound set.
The second pk3, will replace the 2nd single hilt in the SP JA game. This pk3 will eventually be replaced with a Revenge of the Sith Weapons Pack that I'm also working on.

Installation:

Simply extract the pk3(s) to the gamedata/base folder of your Jedi Academy directory. The second pk3 (HS-anakin_saber-SP.pk3) will replace single hilt #2 in the SP JA game. This will overwrite, or be overwritten, by any additional saber replacements you might have already added. So keep this in mind should you find that it doesn't work.

This is the best model i've seen, but personnally, if you were to ask me about accuaracy, i think the hair needs to be changed a bit. Aside from that, its great.

I play in SP mode using spawning, so after adding all of the models available to the NPC file, here's what I came up with.
The Anakin from AOTC is kind of...off. First of all his hair looks WAY too blonde. Also the face (only the face...the clothes are great!) isn't quite as good as the other "leading" AOTC Anakin.
Another thing is that the saber for all NPC entries should be set to e3_anakin, not hs_anakin.
Considering the above, which is nit-picky, I still stand by my 10/10 rating.

We are witnessing a bit of necromancy around here, this model is the engine that resurrects the dead JKA game. It made me reinstall the game and MB2. I just hope the new MB2 patch comes out quickly. I don´t think I need to say anything that haven´t been said already, positivly or negativly...

Very nice. Only 2 complaints. The ep 2 models hair is a bit too blonde, and the forehead is a bit big. I'll keep using kc's ep2 anakin. But I love the others and the stih one is great. nice work. 10/10
can someone make a pk3 of this to work with MB2?
Perhaps the old ep2 looks a bit better becuz this one's hair is too blond... But... that old model doesn't have an animated face I believe, and the weighting isn't done as good as this model so this model is definatly better...

Theres a 7kb patch linked in there, around page 125 or so. It fixes the SP errors.
Also, don't see the anakin in SP selection? Simple trick...most basic ever...add an 'e' or several 'z' to the .pk3 name in your base flder and it will show.

no it isnt all you have to do is select a head model with a hood and then theres a hood....simple as that
I have the same issue with the saber blade not showing up in Single Player.
Any one know what I could do to fix it?
It seems there was a patch but it got removed.
This is driving me crazy I cannot figure out why the saber blade wont show up in sp when using anakin!
Ok I figured somthing out, if you use the torso with the normal hands and robe, no mechanical hand, the saber will not show up but apparently the other ones work. Weird
Figured that out once I saw screenshot 3... I saw it and decided to try a diffrent torso and it worked!

The Episode II Anakin looks like he has an afro. The evil hooded version looks kinda weird because of the eyes. Fix those and it's perfect. Great job on everything else though.

Woot, and this skins ep2 Does kind of give off to much of a Blonde-Hairstyled Badly Clothed Renegade punk But hey i cant do better so props to ya Haps, also You should do a Mustafar map with SJC, his was good but it was so damn tiny, if you two worked together im sure you could make amazing maps.

As people have probably heard from me before, I just don't have any soft spot in my heart for skins and player models.
But I will say that this is probably the best model I have seen out there! Incredibly realistic face, even better realism than the default skins provided by RavenSoft. It looks very natural...Hapslash, where do you get this talent??
And yes, as #102 said, you SHOULD work for Lucasarts. You would be a valuable addition!!

I dont like it but thats just me, I think his Obi Wan looked better, this looks like he is frowning constantly, also I dont think anakin had a few strands of hair straight down into his forehead. Im sure its hecka hard to model, so at least he tryed 8/10. Good Job.

I hate the cloak, It's black, and just.. In my eyes has something wrong with it.
The SP versions, I don't know if anyone else notices this, it happens on about all the anakin models, but it looks a bit.. Hunchbacked.

hunchbacked :s:s:s rofl.... not at all... There's nothing wrong with it... And it's the only well-weighted anakin out there. The only thing I don't like about this pack is the fact that you can choose to have an anakin with no hair and no hood in the singleplayer menu, but I believe that with all the options avialable, it's not possible to get rid of that so... all is fine.
LoL, I emailed about this one wondering if he was still working on it, I was so depressed that he wasn't. He got back to me and said he was but there were no updates on his site that it looked abandoned since the year before. IT IS FINALLY HERE, I accidently clicked my link to JKfiles and then I saw it.....AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I love this modle!

I have two quick questions, though. First, why does it seem like in every model involving a jedi robe (even this glorious one), the left arm seems to go through the vest-thingy? I'm not complaining (to have any complaints with this model would be sacrilege)...to be honest, I was just curious
Second, what other models are you working on in your Episode III project? And would this project happen to include a model of Palpatine? 'Cause I think that a Palpatine model done by HapSlash is the ONLY thing that could possibly outdo this skin lol!

I'm having a problem with the hood in the single player game. I selected a the non robe body and head but when I got to Hoth Anakin is wearing his robe but the top and back of his head disappear where there should be a hood.

I was wondering if Haplash's anakin and obi wan can co-excist...I mean like when im playing as anakin or obi then i spawn one of the two, they attack me...The reason I asked is because I wanted to do Dooku vs Obi and Ani but anakin and obi wan end up killing eachother...though I have to say...when they fight eachother...ITS AMAZING.

this is so good but.... (bum bum bummm) when i was on the sp level where rax joris catches you when you are about to go through one of the doors it stops and says something about head extensions too large or something i cant remember but i figured out how to fix it if you walk through the door in first person the error pops out but if you hav ur saber (give all) it works i dont know if its just me or something but oh well 9126345127354917634591635/10 just perfect

thanks man I needed this model I'm making ep 3 with loads of mods I have obi vs grievous and anakin attacks the temple (not fully complete) I'm thinking of patching ALL together to make a conversion with permission from all the modders but I'll need to complete all ep 3 anyways you should make them npcs so we can play a mustafar, the invisible hand all that stuff on sp
(where can I find clone npcs Ithought "clones ultima" would work for npcs but its just models for mp reply please)
WOW!!!! BEST ONE EVER!!! It works great with the younglings.zip file (u can the younglings like in ep3!!!!). I like how everything flows really nicely.

From all the Anakin Models i've seen, this one seems to recreate Anakin Skywalker in the best way. Good work here HS, 9/10. The Ep3 skin looks better than the Ep2 skin in my opinion.

Ok, lets just say, when I see this at the create player screen for SP, it looks messed up, just... everything is outa whack, ie: face is upside down, half of head is missing... just bad. Looks like I'm the only one with this. To make it worse, the problem continues in game. But it works alright when i do the "playermodel" thing.
Any suggestions?

How do you npc spawn all versions of these? so far I can only spawn robed anakin.
And also bon fett what suggestion do you want all I saw in your posts was lets say my screen went insane I mean what do you want us to help you with? just speak calmly and actually say somthing that makes sense.

This is a great Mod Ive been looking for an Anakin Head mod for Kotor For a LONG time is there any way you can convert it or make one for me? Just the Ep3 Head would be fine if its not to much trouble I'd bet a Bunch of KOTOR players would thank you for it .

Well in SP when i select characte, i chosed Anakin Hooded but the Hood won't show. i just see empty, like in his head were nothing.
What can i do?
You need to select the hooded robe as well as the hooded head
this is the best Anakin i have EVER SEEN! PERFECT! right down to the scar on the Ep.III version! 10/10 dosen't even do you justice!

DUDE, this Anakin model is so freakin awesome. If you have the ROTS TC from Lucasfiles , that has a gay anakin model so just download HS Anakin and BAM! You have EP3 ANAKIN
I've had this model for quite some time, and love it... But, the one and only thing I would change would be the Ep. 2 Anakin, it needs darker hair...
