Edit: Whoops! I can't believe I missed half the map! I thought one of the doors cannot be opened.

And I was just about to follow my series of "we need more originality" reviews. Until I saw the map! The first thing that strikes you immediately is the awesome architecture of the "ruby hall", as I call it. Look at the ceiling, my jaw dropped when I saw it. I wouldn't say that the hall is perfect, no. I find the pillars way too crowded and logically pointless - why would someone put so many of them in such a short hall? I'd rather make a long, wider hall with the same number of pillars, with, say, things in between. And the rotating saber could be stony as well, to fit the rock statue of Darth Maul (the dominant of the whole room). Then there's the second room. Not bad, but not as good as the ruby hall. The waterfalls don't quite appeal to me, the shader used seems out of place. Nothing more to add, I guess.

There are four offices (they look like them) in the opposite hallway. They're all the same, though, a little bit of diversity cannot hurt. Now, if you follow the hallway, you exit the whole complex and see a little bit of sunshine, a very nice waterfall (save the waterfall shader itself) and a nice... thing that will surely host many duels. All in all, the whole map is pretty good, especially for a clan one.

PS: I'd be immensely grateful to the author if he decided to make a larger version without the clan tags, with more rooms. Such a map would be perfect for roleplaying.

MAP DESCRIPTION

This map is a clan map of one of the better clans: HOE. I have tried not to do the typical clan map, so I needed more than 3 months to design this map.

The player starts in one room called: HALL OF EVIL. From this room the player can goes to every zone of the map: from a swimming pool to the garden, also there are some rooms, two duel areas, a council and a training curt.



MORE INFORMATION

The music in the map is from the game STAR WARS: Republic Commando. The song is called "Vode An" composed by Jesse Harlin.

There are four new models, all of them made by me. I only have used the statue of Darth Maul but I have included the other three in the file.

DESCRIPCION DEL MAPA

Este es el mapa de uno de los mejores clanes del Jedi Knight II: HOE . He intentado no hacer el tipico mapa de un clan, por lo que he necesitado mas de 3 mapas para diseńarlo.

El jugador comienza en una llamada: Hall Of Evil. Desde esta sala los jugadores pueden ir a cualquier otra parte del mapa: desde una piscina hasta el jardin, ademas hay algunas habitaciones, un par de originales salas de duelo, un concilio y una zona de entrenamiento.


MAS INFORMACION

La musica del mapa es del juego STAR WARS: Republic Commando. La cancion se llama "Vode An" compuesta por Jesse Harlin

Hay cuatro modelos nuevos hechos por mi. En el mapa finalmente solo use la estatua de Darth Maul pero he incluido los otros tres en el archivo.


VENTAJAS DE DESCARGAR EL ARCHIVO DESDE JK2FILES Y NO DESDE FILEFACTORY

Se trata de una version con un skybox (textura del cielo) creada especificamente para este mapa que antes no estaba.

Es un fichero mas pequeńo que el de FILEFACTORY porque se han suprimido todas las texturas que cree para el mapa pero que luego no fueron usadas. Los modelos y los sonidos no usados tambien han sido eliminados.

La descarga desde JK2FILES es mas rapida y segura que la del FILEFACTORY

Se trata de una BETA, no solo lo he probado yo en mi ordenador, si no que tambien lo han probado mas jugadores.

FINE work! I love the lighting you did. I dont, however, like the waterfall thing, the indoor one. The texture is kinda off. But all in all, 9.5/10!
