Electric Saber Mod - File Description  


Description:
As you might guess from the name of this mod, it causes the sabers to become electrified. Saber, more specifically. Just the blue one, which works alright in my opinion. Electricity is always portrayed as blue, so green lightning effects would look a bit wierd. And as for purple? Ha. Ha ha.

So this mod works exactly as advertised. It adds an electric look to the blade itself, and a very cool electricity-ish motion blur. As simple as this mod was created, it turned out really really nifty. Just take a look at the screenshots. In fact as I was testing it I could only come up with two complaints. (1) the saber core is not shaped on the bottom, so it can be seen at some points to have a hard line at the bottom outside of the hilt, and (2) it could really use some crackly electric sound effects. Other than that, though, this is a perfect mod for what it's trying to do.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: simply, extract to your gamedata/base folder inside your jedi academy folder!

DESCRIPTION: This is a saber mod that gives your lightsaber an electric trail and look!

BUGS: I have found no bugs! :D

NOTE: You have to make your saber blue for this to work properly.

COMMENTS: I couldn't find an electric saber mod so i found out how to make 1.
