Deadly Weapons Pack - File Description  


Description:
Behold, as I show you the tragically awesome set of weapons allegedly from Guild Wars. Gaze at their malignant might, and tremble.

Each of these weapons has it own particular flare, the textures reminding me of the madness ore weapons from Oblivion's Shivering Isles expansion. Regardless, the weapon model and textures remain exquisite...except for these flaws:

1.) They all include scaled damage, so fairness is impeded.

2.)No sword noises. Just saber.

Honestly, I think everything else is just great =_= well, okay, thou couldst make the scythe a staff, but that's just a personal opinion. Fear, as I coerce thee into submitting bandwidth...*ambiguous coercion technique* Yes, fear that, and fear it well...


...and shove bandwidth into it.

#######Description:########|

I've been wanting to create a collection of weapons for a long time now but i couldn't find
enough good designs to work from. I then noticed how good the weapons in Guild Wars were so i decided to find the best looking, most dangerous and expensive weapons and try to recreate them from scratch for JKA. Before people start saying "You've ported them!" there isn't a way of getting anything out of the Guild wars game(There was a texture editor but that got stopped fast). I took the models i had made and gave my own interpretation of what texture they would have as i thought some of the Guild Wars designs could of looked even better.

The Fiery Dragon Sword gave me the most problems, as the animated flame shader used on it could not be recreated (looking like flames) in the Quake 3 engine as its not capable of it,
so i had to leave that out.

The Cesta and Raking Scythe are my own designs and are in there because i couldn't find any more from the guild wars game.

I hope you have as much fun fighting with them as i had making them ;)

##########Usage###########|

Extract one or all of them to:

C:\ Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\Base


##To use in singleplayer##|

Open up the console by pressing Shift + `(button next to 1)

Type Helpusobi 1 and press enter.

Then type:

saber saber_HP = Hierophant
saber saber_Fellblade = Fellblade
saber saber_caxe = Chaos Axe
saber saber_FDS = Fiery Dragon Sword
saber saber_cesta = Cesta
saber saber_RS = Raking Scythe
saber saber_TS = Tormented Shield

And press enter to wield that weapon.


#########Notes############|

These weapons have atleast double the damage (the more dangerous looking the more damage it does) of any saber in the game.

The Scythe is the most damaging and kills practically anything in one hit.

Be careful ^^
