Darksaber_TDM - File Description  


Description:
Lord Kaan took his Darksaber Duel map and expanded it. It has the basic layout, those blue/green neon lights. He added some new places in this map. There is a generator room near the side of the map. There is another extension of this map, which is like a hallway. You can see space from outside of them, and they are covered in a red force field. There are more places as well. The map has weapons in it, so you can blast your opponent. This map works for FFA and TFFA. In some parts, this map gets really shiny. There is bot support, so all of you that are on Dial-Up, you can have fun too. There are new textures, which is an improvement from the original duel version of this map. Nicely done!

Map description: - For JA. Created for true FFA & Team Deathmatch, full force, all weapons gameplay. Preferred settings and milage may vary, but I hope you give it a shot and TRY to have fun playing it. Complete with full bot support.

Authors Notes: - By popular request, I took my Darksaber Duel/Powerduel map and expanded it into an FFA/TDM map.

*How to use this map*

Place the darksaber_tdm.pk3 into your base folder and select from the ingame menu. To un-install delete the darksaber_tdm.pk3 from the base folder.

first this picture http://jediknight2.filefront.com/screenshots/38/files2/34727_9.jpg looks very much like a room in the rift map, and another room the main room in the Korriban (FFA) map. It's a nice map, shaders are a bit overused, but some might find it good when many other maps, just have plain "boring" textures. I, myself think it's a bit over-used, in some areas. Also, i don't like the way it has both the very cool new look, and then the imperial style. Idd like to see a map totally with the new look, also make more curves like in the duel area!!! And more Detail!!! all in all, an okay map, you have many of the important techniques in it. But more detail, maybe some wires, or similar. Or just another shader on some of the walls. Ill give it a 6/10. i whould really like to see a version 2 of this map, with more detail, and only the green neon-ish look! Keep it up! smile

Is this supposed to have summat to do with the book Darksaber? Cause i havent found a resemblence yet.

Nice.... Really like how the map kinda... looks fresh, good to play on lan, and as it states, is good for tdm...

I don't think so #5, it doesn't have the whole 'this is a weapon that can blow shizzle up' kind of feel to it. It's probably just unrelated.


I can't believe I said shizzle again. Darn!
