Circle Depths - File Description  


Description:
Hmmmm... I gotta say, for a first map, this one was actually pretty good. It has it's flaws, but it does seem to be better than the average first map.

It's a multi-level cylinder, to be most accurate. Stepping on certain pieces of the floor launches you upward to another level. I noticed that the wall textures had some pretty bad seams in them, but otherwise, everything looked alright.

There's really not a whole lot more to say about this. Give it a download if you're interested.

That screenshot shows the map to be a Nazi Swastika? Lol.

Lol... I am sure thats not the intended view. smile

Acrylytle, if you make a v2 or anything else with this simplicity (ie, no extremely fancy patches) try selecting all you wall brushes (or wall faces) and pressing AXIAL in the surface inspector. This should get rid of seems. if not, it must be done manually, although often if AXIAL has already been pressed there should only be like one left. Further adjusting can be done with shift + ARROW KEYS, but I am sure you already found that out. (first thing I ever did was randomly press keys out of curiosity... and I don't think I am the only one! ;D)

Gishank, I think you are very creative. I dont seem to see a Nazi Swastika in the screenshot? Only a very vague one? Anyway as said above I doubt that that was the intended view. And for Acry, nice map for a first, hope to see more from you soon

it looks nothing like the swastika, it looks more of a windmill because not all edges have the piece sticking out

That's because they're not in the image? I haven't actually downloaded the map, it was just the Screenshot Tis' All.
