Bespin Christmas - File Description  


Description:
This was a cool map to go around in. Basically, the author took good ol’ FFA Bespin and made it a Christmas map, complete with lights, tree, presents, and sleigh!

So I enter the map to a sea of white. Well, not really. But I did get a pleasant surprise to find almost everything retextured to be Christmas-y. Things have been added on, changed, and areas have been expanded. For instance that one spire thingy in the original map has been replaced with a Christmas tree. Lights have been strewn across the map. There are wreaths all over. And there’s even a sleigh flying! And you can even jump up onto it and ride it.

I liked how the snow in the map piled up to the walls, and how the lights flickered on and off. The sleigh was also fun to ride on. But the niceness of the map was counteracted because in some areas the textures were not redone, so you have regular Bespin textures in a snowy map.

I did enjoy this map, and I suggest that you download it, just for a change of scenery.

Installation:

First you need to unzip the file into an temp directory, then you
should copy the BespinChristmas.pk3 file to the base directory in gamedata.
Or if your on a mac, the base folder can be found right inside your
Jedi Knight II folder.

Known Bugs :Few places u can get stuck, skybox has a funky line, at one spot
in the map if u look at the exact rihgt angle, u can see through the skybox.
