Tiger-Stripe Noghri - File Description  


Description:
My first reaction to this skin was: "Haha, a retarded kitty!" Why? I don't know... but I stick by what i said even now, five minutes later.

This is a reskin of the Noghri model, a quite old one at that as it was done in 2004, back when the JkFiles community hasn't yet heard the name Inyri Forge. This is one of the strangest reskins I have seen in quite a while, who would have though one of those big nasty blue Noghri could become an adorable kitty? Ok, not adorable, really ugly... But that's beside the point.

Surprisingly enough, the skin has been photosourced in its entirety. But never fear, it's been done well enough that you can't tell unless someone informs you. But what would be a kitty if he didn't sound like one? Not much. Fortunately we won't have this problem as there are very fuzzy kitty sounds included.
There really isn't much more I can say about the skin, take a look at the screenshots, and if you like what you see, then by all means feel free to download.

Credits: To LucasArts, for making a perfectly tweakable game, to jedikiller for giving me inspiration to fool around with the noghri model, and to google for just being so handy!

Installation Instructions: Put in your gamedata/base folder, as usual.

Description: Well, jedikiller just recently made a noghri skin with an animal-type theme, and seeing as how I can't resist tiger textures I decided to follow suit. This skin comes with BOT, team, and fuzzy kitty sound support. No NPCs this time, unfortunately.

Known Bugs/Issues:
I haven't found any. I briefly tested it and all the textures/sounds seem to be working okay.

Comments: What's better than a fluffy kitty? I do so love cats. Too bad the poor little bugger doesn't have any ears.


NOTE: This skin is very old (see the release date). A few updates are needed to the read-me for this reason. Firstly, the sounds were found freely on the net from various sources. Google was the middle man here. The textures are also photosourced from images found, once again, through Google. This skin is from back in the days when I wasn't that great a texture artist... ;) In any case, enjoy this odd reskin of the Noghri model.
